Coil (the)
v.1. I once spent the night at a Bush Music party,
On someone’s verandah, from evening to dawn,
Where the Moon Tiger Mozzie Coils were all that saved us
From a skinful of itches from toenails to yawn.
Chorus:
And the first ones to come were all severely bitten,
‘Twas hard quite to know the best time to arrive.
Moon Tiger Princess, I think you saved me,
If you weren’t there I’d have been eaten alive.

v.2.‘Twas a nice little town up in Northern Victoria,
Where the irrigation channels keep down any dust,
And the mozzies at night, should they sense ANY movement,
Buzz, “I don’t want to bite ya, but I bloody well must!”
Chorus:

v.3. Have you been to Cohuna, that hard bitten township?
Have you faced all those bushflies, without Aerogard?
Where the mozzies I’ve mentiones are there beyond legion,
And a herd of them hover, over (h)everyone’s yard.
Chorus:

v.4. ‘Twas a night to remember and a morning still spoken of.
Singing and dancing and beer that was free!
Oh Moon Tiger Princess, should you ever feel lonely,
Come light your coils first, and then coil around me.
Chorus:
